The Snapchat score for a ‘snapchatter’ as we call them, is calculated keeping in mind the number of snaps that a ‘snapchatter’ sends their friends, the number of snaps they receive from their friends, and how often and how many stories are uploaded by you on the Snapchat application. Basically, the Snapchat score shows how active you are on the application. The higher the score, the more active you are in all the things mentioned here. So if you want your Snapchat score to be more, then you better start Snapchat-ing more.
Where is Your Snapchat Score
You can find your Snapchat score right where you find all the stories that you have added and from where you can access the settings for Snapchat. Right under your name on Snapchat, you can view your current score on Snapchat. The arrow here in the image above highlights my score for Snapchat. Eleven thousand looks like a lot to me, but trust me when I say this that there are people who have scores in millions and even more. And with the amount of their activity in Snapchat, who cannot have a score that high.
How to See Your Friends Snapchat Score
- To view a friends Snapchat score, simply click on their avatar and their Snapchat profile will open, showing their name and their score on Snapchat. If they have a story displaying in place of their avatar, then this is what you need to do.
What Will Happen If You Increase Your Snapchat Score
The only information that Snapchat has handed over to the users of the application is that you as a user will receive trophies because of the score on Snapchat as well your streaks with friends. As I mentioned earlier, the more you use Snapchat, the higher the score becomes, and the more score you get, there are chances you will own more trophies on Snapchat. Other than these trophies, the possible outcome of increasing your score on Snapchat, in my opinion, would be access to special filters, or maybe some features which on people with a high score can access. This could be a good motive for people to increase their score for Snapchat. Unlocking major trophies would be an appealing offer for a person who LOVES Snapchat. I have a friend who is a super big fan of Snapchat and her score is extremely high in comparison to my Snapchat score. I broke our streak once and she has never even started another one with me because she is very serious about those Snapchat trophies. So for a person who wants those trophies, should definitely increase their activity on Snapchat. With the number of changes that an Application goes through time after time, you might as well enjoy all the features for this app while it lasts. Back when Snapchat was still new, and a number of updates took place which changed a lot for the application and how it worked. Including the feature where tapping on a friends name actually made it possible to view their score. Now the process for viewing the score is slightly longer if and only if they have not put up a story.
