The game is still popular today among the community even after the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk 2077 in 2020; the Witcher franchise kept the reputation of CDPR intact. The Witcher 3 was beautifully designed with stunning visuals.  It seems perfect, but a YouTube channel by the name of Digital Dreams took the visuals of the game to another level with the ultimate power of the newly launched beast; NVIDIA RTX 4090. Digital Dreams posted a video just 20 seconds short of 10 minutes showcasing the gameplay of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The gameplay is powered by the RTX 4090, and the game is running 100+ mods and 8K resolution, including ray tracing in the video posted by Digital Dreams. The game already had nearly perfect graphics and beautiful visuals, but Digital Dreams have presented a new perspective of looking at The Witcher 3.  The improvements are clearly visible, making the scenes in the game ultra realistic. These modifications show how the modding community is still dedicated to a 7-year-old game and how much value The Witcher 3 holds in the community. It also intrigues fans to once again dive into their favorite games and experience them to the fullest.  Fans’ excitement is already high as CDPR on 4th October has officially announced a new Witcher saga. In a recent investor’s call, CDPR confirmed that the next Witcher installment would be the first of a trilogy of mainline games that will come under the franchise.  It was also confirmed that along with the new trilogy, two other Witcher projects codenamed Project Sirius and Project Canis Majoris, will also be developed externally within the existing Witcher universe. The external development of these two games will help them diversify the content, and they will be able to offer a fresh play style to the community.  The news surrounding The Witcher 3 doesn’t stop here, there are rumors about Witcher3’s re-release on current-gen consoles aka PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S roaming around the internet. Recently, Game Infinitus, a UK retailer, might have leaked the release date of the current-gen upgrade of Witcher 3, which appears to be 9th December 2022. Undoubtedly, The Witcher franchise has grown massively over the years and is a flagship product of CDPR. Not only The Witcher games are popular, but the Netflix show based on the Witcher books starring Henry Cavil has gained significant popularity among fans.
